I’ve resisted posting a thread on something told me this week

My youngest son is friends with the son of a lady Christian singer and her classical music composer husband .....he stays at their home. Fair amount ....they are strict but cool parents....Hubbie is world class composer and she’s very fetching mom....

Anyhow....her brother is chief of staff to a well known GOPe US senator

He told her two days ago to batten down the hatches

A lot of coming out and Trump ain’t going quietly into the night

Pretty much...

Have ample food at home and firewood and so forth...

A senator who loves Trump and voted against Covid and has been very quiet since the election

Just curious, but is your wife’s brother prone to exaggeration? How confident are you that he is being factual?

I want to believe. You’re certainly no fly-by-night anon... but I can’t help but think that if something big was about to go down, surely Mitch M and Lindsey G would know about it, and would want to position themselves with Trump and be on the right side of history...? No?

Is the well known GOPe senator the same as:

“A senator who loves Trump and voted against Covid and has been very quiet since the election”

Since usually (I could be wrong) the “e” on the end of GOPe means “elite”, as in icky.
