“The statement by Sasse said that “felons like Manafort and Stone” had “flagrantly and repeatedly violated the law and harmed Americans.” “
Lock Sasse up. There’s no intelligent life there.
“a one horse pony.”
That’s going to be around a while. LOL!
Maybe not everyone, but in this case it is very appropriate, that this mans name describes him very well, ASS
This pig needs to hear from his constituents.
The 17th amendment means he has to listen the folks back home.
Maybe they did Benny Saddle, but the problem here is that only Republicans go to jail an Dems get off for far worse. Look at Hillary, Bill, Hunter, and all their voter fraudsters.
Manafort wouldn’t make up sh!t for them to nail Trump with. The prosecution was rotten to the core, same gang who’ve run roughshod over civil rights of the accused for decades. Good on Trump that he issued these pardons.
Not hard at all. He didn’t have a challenger at least on the republican side.
Because incumbents are reelected 95 %(+/-) of the time. The illusion of a primary against these rats is basically useless.
“felons like Manafort and Stone” had “flagrantly and repeatedly violated the law and harmed Americans.”
Exactly HOW?
Pardoning Kushner was not a good look. He should have pardoned Assange way before ever considering that.
Sasse - no surprise. What is “rotten” is all the persecutions by prosecution by the “rotten” FBI/DOJ, of those associated with Trump. That is what’s ROTTEN ... and they’re still stinking up the place, as is Sasse.
Yes in 2026, I hope trump gets a decent republican to run against him. Of course, trump will be 80 years old and may be on to other things.
“It may happen, at some future day, that he will establish a monarchy, and destroy the republic. If he has the power of granting pardons before indictment, or conviction, may be not stop inquiry and prevent detection?” he wrote.
It may happen. It has not in this case. Kushner Senior has already served his time. Phadapolous and Manafort were victims of a malicious prosecution.
Why do I think that these pardons will play a negative role in Jan when the EC votes are counted and hopefully contested. The narrative will be - The election was probably stolen and we need to debate forever and then pass something that appears to be tangible evidence of having done some kind of weak reforms, but Trump is a loose cannon and cannot be president, so he is out and we got a place holder and see you again in 4 years
The Baby Ruth in the swimming pool.
felons like Manafort and Stone” had “flagrantly and repeatedly violated the law and harmed Americans.”
Manafort was convicted for false information on a mortgage application. This was a result of the Mueller investigation. It had nothing to do with "Russian collusion". Stone "lied" to Congress. Where are the "repeated violations of the law" and how did that "harm Americans"
I see Ben’s Ass is at it again.
Pal of Jonah Goldberg, of course.
MOST were coerced into pleading guilty. 2% sure beats obumer’s 7% of real criminals.
Sasse has NO PROBLEM with dems and their flunkies destroying free elections in this country, but hey I hate anything Trump does......
Butt buddies
