Many jobs you mentioned are what teens do in the summer, plus many others get training for. We need to take care of US first,-not illegals.

Teenager summer jobs? Don’t know any teenager working as farm labor, in a meat-packing plant or as a landscaper. Maybe construction if they were into building trades (most were not). So fast-food... Teenagers, even in the 1980s worked in malls, the local amusement park (for us, it was Marriott’s Great America).
Again, Mexican illegals are not the job killers, it’s Indians, mostly, and Communist Chinese, which destroyed the American middle class.
You know more then I do about Kids/teens/young adults these days. I think most would like a construction/trade job.
Looking back, if you were not a real brain before college what would be wrong with learning plumbing? Darn good money.
