Newt’s big problem, reflected in all his presidential campaigns and throughout his whole career, that’s always fundamentally made him a lightweight, is that there are two Newts, a bad one ad a good one. Whenever he gets up in the morning he doesn’t know which will come out or when it will. Indeed, each can come out at different times in the same day. That makes him entertaining but disqualifies him for major offices. This is one of his Bad Newt times.

My exact theory about George Will. There was George Will the genius who could write or speak extremely well, cogently and on point. And then there was the hack George Will. Unfortunately, in his dotage we only saw the hack trying to fill a page.
