A controversial expert witness testified in court Monday that there were voting irregularities in a $1.1 billion Dallas County College bond election.
...
“There were 38 precincts where there were more ballots that were canvassed than there were ballots documented on the audit logs and that’s very concerning because they are coming from the same data source,” Pressley testified.
Pressley testified as an expert witness for Kirk Launius, a former Dallas County sheriff candidate who is seeking to overturn the results of the bond election ... Approved by 71.46% of voters in the election, the bond package, now on hold, ...
Among his allegations, Launius contends that election officers counted illegal votes while failing to count legal ones. He also alleges that poll watchers weren’t allowed to observe electronic votes being entered and counted.
Dallas College’s attorney, Carlos Lopez, had asked Judge Charles Stokes to bar Pressley from testifying as an expert witness, saying the former 2014 Austin City Council candidate didn’t meet the necessary criteria and had started a “cottage industry” of questioning election integrity after she lost her own election.

“There was a flashcard that was not put into the system that was recollected, reconsolidated and re-updated that group,” Mevellec testified.
Mevellec said that when replacing this new flashcard containing votes from each precinct, it is to be expected that in some cases there will be more votes.

We know that cheating goes on in small elections, and even medium sized elections.
But a bond election?
I guess human nature is such that, once successful in the small parts of life, cheating will expand to all facets of life.
It's almost Biblical...
“Launius contends that election officers counted illegal votes while failing to count legal ones. He also alleges that poll watchers weren’t allowed to observe electronic votes being entered and counted.”
A preview of things to come if Trump isn’t able to get a handle on the voting ‘problems’.
Never has so much rested on the shoulders of one man.
Never has one man been so qualified to handle it.
It is a billion dollar bond and includes money to build a new Dallas county community college campus. Tons of pork.
That said, I don’t think you can overturn 70%+ approval for it.
...And all this is the reason I definitely made sure to buy a house OUTSIDE of the Dallas County line.
