Our club placed an order for members only 6 weeks ago, about 5 pallets of ammunition. Mostly 5.56 and 9mm, but some .45 and .38 was included. It was all picked up in less than 48 hours.
A second order was placed, 6 pallets this time. Every single round is spoken for. When I was at the Practical Rifle shoot over the weekend the guy who coordinated it said it totals over $325,000 for both orders.
He’s not gouging, either. It’s the ammo and shipping costs and that’s it. 5.56 ball ammo is going for about 50 cents a round. Not bad these days. 9mm, which I don’t shoot, is I believe around 30 cents or so. Once again not bad considering.

Your price-per-round is way off!
I remember the pre Lightworker Obama days when a box of 9mm would be on sale for under $5. I remember “2 for $5” boxes of .223. I remember bricks of 550 .22lr for $5. Then our light ringer savior the Obama brought peace and unity to the world and ammo was no longer needed and went through the roof. There was a brief, VERY brief, respite just before Kung Flu was given to us by our friendly communist Chinese friends where ammo shelves were stocked again with affordable ammo. Still couldn’t find primers though.
If Biden manages to slither his pedo hairy legs in to office you can bet there will never be affordable supplies of ammo again. Especially when the ATF cranks up their rule making machine.
