Her ex-husband dodged a bullet. She would have blown up the marriage at some point anyway, and meanwhile she was probably making him miserable over feeling unfulfilled with him.
If he's around her age (37), he's right at the prime age for men attracting another woman, while she's well past her prime. He might even attract a woman who wants to have kids (HIS kids).
