These days they are overwhelmingly sticking the word "Social" into everything and framing everything with the word "community" and topping it all off with the never-ending phrase... "we're all in this together" in an attempt to wipe out any thoughts of individualism so as to promote sheepish group think.
Even the Pope is now doing it in his encyclicals, along with the overly liberal Ad Council with their endless flood of Public Service spots on ratio and T.V.

How do you explain Japan with the oldest population on Earth and only 2500 deaths out of 160 million people? Same with S.Korea, Taiwan, HK and other Asian countries. They took the lockdowns seriously.
Asians are followers and listen to authority. People in the US are more independent and tend not to listen to authority.
Asian people have been wearing mask for 25 years and near 100% wear mask during the chinese virus.

My wife was valedictorian of her HS class, tested out of Fresh and Soph biology and chemistry at a Big Ten Uni and was ranked third highest in the Veterinarian graduating class at same Big ten school, She has read unbiased research material, she is a conservative and Trump voter and she believe mask control the spread.

IIRC, it was in an Asian country where the government was welding doors closed of hundreds of thousands of habitated apartments to mitigate the WuFlu spread. Those commie freaks wore masks — as you say — “near 100%”.

Scientific evidence shows, at best, inconclusive results. The rigorous evidence I’ve read shows that healthy people are risking their health by wearing masks.
