I’m an American Christian patriot, meaning I believe in federalism, among other things. Federalism runs counter to most forms of nationalism.
We wouldn’t be a country without it, historically speaking, so I guess I am a Federalist too.
The discussion was whether we should or not have a form of Christian Nationalism. To me, that is like White Nationalism.
We shouldn’t distinguish people by race or religion when deciding whether a law is just. And there should be no “unwritten laws,” like “Christians are more important here than those of other faiths.”
Please reread what I wrote about wanting true Christians to be able to choose their faith. Under Christian Nationalism people are coerced into being Christians in a subtle or not so subtle way. The same mistake the Inquisition made, thinking if a belief was good then it must be OK to impose it on people.
