Trump has too much respect for the Constitution and the example of our Founding Fathers to use the Insurrection Act martial law under these circumstances.

There is an immediate threat to the nation under a Biden-Harris Administration that will be far more aggressive in suppressing opposition than Clinton and Obama were. If, as in Biden's very words, the Democrats have perfected a massive vote stealing regime, they are assured of reelection for decades to come. Our foreign policy, including trade, will be under Chinese sway, as Biden and many politicians are influenced by the CCP. The full force of the FBI, ATF, IRS, etc., will be turned on conservatives and patriots. Big tech will shut down anyone to the right of Romney or the National Review cucks. The Fairness Doctrine will be revived to shutter conservative talk radio. Banks, encouraged by their regulators, will atop funding or providing banking services to gun manufacturers and conservative groups. Trump and his family will be prosecuted and their wealth seized, probably by the state of New York.

Perhaps Trump will leave office quiet if the court and Congressional challenges fail. But the USA is doomed to rule by a leftist oligarchy, perhaps for decades. The Bill of Rights will be as meaningless as guarantees of rights in the Soviet constitution.

You may be correct. Pray you are wrong. I have said many times that correcting this problem will be much easier and with less violence from the top than from the street level.
