Rock and Roll music was created by black people. There’s no debate about it. Whites copied and modified it.
Because Blacks created the Blues and the Blues were the foundation of early Rock doesn't give the cucks at Rolling Stones and PBS the authority to grant all Rock to Blacks.
But that is what the lame "documentary" claimed. Not just the start of Rock and Roll, but for the start of every variant they found one Black band that was doing something kinda sorta similar and dubbed them the inspiration for that variant.
Was it rock and roll or was it jump blues? Was it R&B?
What IS the first rock and roll song?
And if you look at artists like Little Richard there are quite a few past date covers in his songbook (Baby Face, Keep A Knockin’,...).
