A D.C. Council member’s car was stolen after she left it running while making a stop at a bakery in Northwest Thursday. News4’s Jackie Bensen reports.

A friend who lived in the Skyway area of Seattle in a neighborhood of small homes went out to the driveway and started his car early in the morning before going to work to warm it up. Someone stole it.
I leave the keys in my cars at my house now. I live in Kentucky and my driveway is 1/4 mile long. :)
Was it a personal car or a Washington DC car? You know, they stole your car!
This brings up an interesting thing I’ve noticed. I’ve said for years that if your only exposure to the US was modern movies and TV, you would think that half our presidents are black and most of the rest are female, and everyone uses an Apple computer.
And now I’ll add this: If all you know about us is what you see in videos and stories on the internet, you would think that all crime in the US is committed by black people.
I find it hard to generate any kind of sympathy for Democrats considering that they were responsible for creating the environment for crime to flourish.

Probably longs for the days of the Soviet Union, where party leaders had their own lanes...
This is a common tactic for car thieves. In the winter they hang out in gas station parking lots (usually early morning before commuters cars have had time to heat up) and wait for people to go inside while leaving their car running. Then they steal the car. I had a client about 10 years ago who was charged with auto theft and this was his method.
I liked her on Laverne and Shirley.
Can’t tell you how many times in years past I’ve written letters to the editor of several local papers, to “representatives” complaining about how little representation people of my demographic (white, european) get in the criminal report pages.
LOTS of black, hispanic, asian, but comparatively few whites.
I always thought that was unfair reportage.
Of course, it’s been fixed, as race/skin color is no longer used in “news” reports as identifying features.
The satire just writes itself with these progressive cucks and they don’t even notice.
We can only hope our party members get their own lanes...to help us identify them. :)
I start the car from my house every day. It doesn’t heat it up—but it does heat up quickly when I get in.

I used to day in the Obama days that the one silver lining of his presidency was that it gave white conservatives a feel for how many minorities feel about the representation they get from their elected government. It sucks.
But what I took away from it is that both parties suck at it. It’s a big club up there. We call it the swamp. And don’t tell anyone, but it is there even in small town politics.
That is what makes Trump special. He’s not in it for the politics. I believe he really does want the whole thing to get back on track, his political “career” be damned.
They really, REALLY hate that man because of it. Tha is why this attempt to steal this election simply can NOT be allowed to stand.
I thought all city council members had leased vehicles given to them. I know that was a big deal back in 2011/2012.
