Uh...because it’s really smart to let everyone know what you are going to do.

Mormons should not only vote this moron out of office, they should toss his butt out of the church. He brings shame on them.

Mormons are anti-American space alien Jesus and Lucifer worshippers. We’re the only country that would put up with that shithole cult.

I and one of my sisters are in full agreement on the first part.

We realize the problem with the second part. There are specifics for being tossed and political thought isn’t one of them.

It is difficult to understand the third part when there are many like him politically. Separate from others in the Church on a personal guess of a 70 to 30 basis. Harry Reid would be another example, or any democrat leaning member who sees politics from an emotional level. In my opinion they are unable to deal with our President’s style of leadership thinking falsely he should be “Presidential”, whatever that means along with believing media distortion and lies.

I am fairly certain religion is not the issue in the minds of people who think as Mitt seems to, although that claim is usually made. To me it is more a misunderstanding of religion that is at issue. The same judgement we use to condemn our brothers and sisters, will ultimately condemn ourselves. The law, found in the Gospel of Jesus Christ is repeated in many places, but easily found in the Beatitudes.

In appearance it reminds me of a bit of self righteousness to think one is better than those he is speaking against. Families within any religion have issues along these lines and taken to an extreme will cause problems with long term relations that I’m sure God might want to be civil to be something that causes division. As in walking on eggshells, or being always careful when certain topics are discussed. Or, having to shut up when you feel like talking.

All that said, I believe we on the right, believe these issues are foundational and important to the preservation of the liberties our Founding Fathers enumerated in the Founding documents. I am not sure how the other side views things from their emotional and often lofty perch high and mighty above the rest of us, but for most of us the attempt at understanding will only result in confusion at best and a large headache at worst.

None of this is aimed at McGavin999 but at those he thought should share a bit more concern about the rantings of Brother Mitt. One statement without condemnation could be “put a sock in it Mitt” to borrow I think from the star of... oops, my soon to be eighty one year old memory just kicked in. Carol, meathead, clues that might lead me somewhere. I’ll be back...

That didn’t take long other than the refresher reading about “All in the Family” and the star Carroll O’Conner. On the other hand I might be totally confused and should be thinking it was Fonzie from Happy Days that the quote comes from. Someone knows and the same source I used for the first confusion would I’m sure have the answer for the latest.
