I Was the Homeland Security Adviser to Trump. We’re Being Hacked.
NYT ^ | 12 16 2020 | Thomas P. Bossert

Posted on 12/16/2020 11:23:23 PM PST by yesthatjallen

At the worst possible time, when the United States is at its most vulnerable — during a presidential transition and a devastating public health crisis — the networks of the federal government and much of corporate America are compromised by a foreign nation. We need to understand the scale and significance of what is happening.

Last week, the cybersecurity firm FireEye said it had been hacked and that its clients, which include the United States government, had been placed at risk. This week, we learned that SolarWinds, a publicly traded company that provides software to tens of thousands of government and corporate customers, was also hacked.

The attackers gained access to SolarWinds software before updates of that software were made available to its customers. Unsuspecting customers then downloaded a corrupted version of the software, which included a hidden back door that gave hackers access to the victim’s network.

This is what is called a supply-chain attack, meaning the pathway into the target networks relies on access to a supplier. Supply-chain attacks require significant resources and sometimes years to execute. They are almost always the product of a nation-state. Evidence in the SolarWinds attack points to the Russian intelligence agency known as the S.V.R., whose tradecraft is among the most advanced in the world.

Cover for SolarWinds? A narrative to discredit the real voter fraud as a cyber attack?

Mr. Bossert was the homeland security adviser to President Trump and deputy homeland security adviser to President George W. Bush.

NY Times.

So Red Flag right off the bat.

As I understand it, Cozy Bear is CIA and CIA is anti-Trump.

Scanning down a bit I see SVR, Russians, blah blah blah

Yeah I know where this is going already.

NO SALE.

Why no mention of Red Chinese cyber attacks that have been happening for years? The same re No. Korean, possibly Cuban, and Iranian.

This column has a partisan smell about it and it isn’t perfume. If it took years for the Russians to do their penetration operations, then it all happened, to a very large degree, before 2017, as Obama was president from 209 thru Jan. 2017. Where was he and his advisors besides kissing Red China’s ass and making up a fake “Dossier” against Trump for a non-existent “collusion”.

If the fake Russian Collusion fraud hadn’t taken place, the US could have devoted more time to countering Russia/Red Chinese, et. al cyberwarfare threats with that $30 Million plus money wasted by the imbecile Mueller and his band of traitors in the DOJ and FBI.

It was Obama and his band of merry Marxists and Islamists who let our enemies get away with cyber-murder. Why haven’t they paid for their stupidity, blindness and treason?

NYT article is paywalled.

Other MSM sources piling on with unknown "sources" (or maybe shills or possibly lying) stating "RUSSIA!"

I wouldn't believe a word of it. "Sources" could easily be more Rat political operatives, or even the perps themselves (e.g. spooks).

Such a massive propaganda effort, and still ongoing.

Of course (!!!) it's not China, which has demonsgtrably been hacking around the world for more than a decade, and that's irrefutable.

Remember when the Chicoms hacked the Federal OPM database. Stole every government employee file. Hardly even a peep about it.

"Stole every government employee file."

Including the sensitive personal data on cleared federal employees and contractors. Anyone and everyone with a security clearance.

When the government and contractor info was hacked, it was assumed that included my husband’s info. He has been aware of, and in combat against, the Chicoms his entire professional life as a defense contractor employee.

There is some truth to this.
Here are some of the IP addresses which were being used by software distributed by Solarwinds.

151.139.128.11 (USA)
141.98.81.116 (Netherlands)
45.14.224.157 (Netherlands)
185.77.248.15 (Italy)

It also appears as if they are using Digital Ocean to hide their true locations.

The infiltration effects both PC and Mac but as soon as you update both OS, they are now gone.

The government, even the United States itself, is no longer a “we.’ It’s a “they.”

Weird that they didn't hack the Dominion machines in President Trump's favor, considering that the dems know for an absolute fact that he's colluding.

Also weird that nobody in the mockingbird media dares mention china.

Total misdirection to Russia.

SolarWind’s investment ties are to China.

And right now we need to not end up with an imposter president by not dealing with this past election.

Our Founders gave us a half dozen or more levers to pull to correct course, but we’ve found that the mechanics have been hobbled. At some point this will go hot.

Just curious, would it have been possible for Swalwell’s china doll to send him an email containing spyware that would have enabled her to access his computer and email account and copy all of his email messages and track his internet access?

The MO fits the Chicoms perfectly. Anyone who keeps talking Russia is either mis-informed or knows nothing seriously about tracking and signatures. China, China, China.

Red Chinese cyber attacks masked as fake Russian Collusion could be a false flag fraud to distract everyone from the stolen election. Possibly by design by the dem’s to change the government forever.
