That’s another branch that literally needs a sterilization and re-engineering. A process where the appellate process is balanced with local, rotating, and randomized citizen review.
No more pedophiles going free, or backroom deals letting guys like Epstein get the deal he got.
Also, there needs to be the same sort of review on cases on every level. One that checks the power of DAs to simply ignore some crimes and prosecute others.
The founders did a great job on two of three branches. The judiciary was the flaw. Mark Levin wrote a book about what a historical clown show SCOTUS has been. They’ve been the drunken smelly uncle in the family history of American representative republicanism.
I didn't get a chance to push it. Probably just as well. I never got selected for jury duty. Lawyers don't like engineers or any other fact based thinkers, they prefer people who can easily be emotionally swayed.
