Before you snort in dismissal, review the actions taken wrt chain of command in the military, the changes at DOJ, locking CIA out of operations, using Federal Marshals and SOF with _limited_ FBI in various operations recently, refusing Pentagon access to Biden’s team, and review the 2018 EO along with the conditions that result from Declaration of Emergency and Presidential Emergency powers. Note we are under Declared Emergency.
POTUS has put a communication option in place to bypass the media. Congress can be nullified with specific arrests. Ditto Governors and State Legislators.
It is the last Constitutional stop before the ammo box. It is, IMO, preferable.
