It’s a joint session. They only separate to deliberate if there is an objection to some state’s electors from a Representative and a Senator. Then they deliberate for a couple hours and either the objection is upheld or they resume counting.
The odds of any Dem supporting an objection to Biden electors is nil. It only increases to slightly more than nil if the truth about the fraud is widely known.
