DUBLIN, Ireland (ChurchMilitant.com) - Irish bishops are blackmailing Catholics into taking the COVID-19 vaccine despite explosive revelations of Chinese infiltration of top vaccine manufacturers, scientific journals questioning the efficacy of the vaccine and financial conflicts of interest.

"Refusal to accept a vaccine could contribute to significant loss of life in the community and especially among those who are most vulnerable," the Irish Catholic Bishops' Conference (ICBC) threatened in a statement issued Wednesday.
"The Catholic Church recognizes that safe and effective vaccination is an essential aspect of the prevention of disease," the bishops asserted, both for the vulnerable and "for the common good of humanity."
Reiterating the Catholic teaching "that abortion is always gravely immoral," the bishops said it would be "morally permissible for Catholics to accept a vaccine which involves the use of [aborted] fetal cell lines" if a "more ethically acceptable alternative is not readily available."
The bishops, however, ignored critical questions of the vaccine's safety and effectiveness, even after the British Medical Journal (BMJ) warned that current vaccine trials were not intended to prove that the vaccines could either prevent infection or arrest serious illness if infected.
"None of the trials currently underway are designed to detect a reduction in any serious outcome such as hospital admissions, use of intensive care or deaths," wrote Dr. Peter Doshi, BMJ associate editor and associate professor of pharmaceutical health services research at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy.

"Nor are the vaccines being studied to determine whether they can interrupt transmission of the virus," he cautioned.
"It appears that these trials are intended to pass the lowest possible barrier of success," pharmacologist William A. Haseltine confirmed, referring to the Moderna, Pfizer, AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson vaccine trial protocols.

"It is clear from these studies that the vaccines currently under trial will not be the silver bullet needed to end the pandemic," wrote Professor Haseltine, founder of Harvard's Division of Biochemical Pharmacology and Human Retrovirology, explaining that "vaccine efficacy is typically proved by large clinical trials over several years."
Meanwhile, leaked documents of a database of 1.95 million registered Chinese Communist Party (CCP) members showed that 123 communist loyalists had infiltrated vaccine makers Pfizer and AstraZeneca.
The database was leaked on Telegram, the encrypted instant messaging app, demonstrating the level of penetration by the CCP into Western governments, defense firms, banks and pharmaceutical giants.

Speaking to Church Militant, anthropologist Karen Harradine said she had "always been pro-vaccine, but like many others, I question the speed in which the COVID-19 vaccine has been made available."
She explained:
Vaccines usually take years to test, the current ones have been trialed for only a few months. Some of the manufacturers have admitted that they don't know all the side effects yet. Besides the safety issue there is also the question of ethics. Instead of letting the science lead them, the bishops are making outlandish claims that refusing the vaccine might kill many people. This kind of emotional blackmail and manipulation is unfitting for religious leaders.
Why are they so keen on pushing the vaccine especially given that the vaccine could have awful side effects for some and might not be that effective anyway? Why are they doing China's dirty work for them too?

The code, she noted, was developed in the ashes of the Holocaust to ensure nobody would ever again be subjected to involuntary medical experiments.

The BMJ has also exposed the financial conflicts of interest surrounding the U.K. authorization of the COVID-19 vaccine.
The government "has kept members' financial conflicts of interest unpublished and shown little concern that advisers to the coronavirus Vaccine Taskforce have financial interests in pharmaceutical companies receiving government contracts," it warned.
Reports revealed that the U.K. government's chief scientific adviser, Sir Patrick Vallance, had £600,000 worth of shares in GlaxoSmithKline after GSK signed a coronavirus vaccine deal with the government for an undisclosed sum.
Oxford University's John Bell, heading the National COVID Testing Scientific Advisory Panel and chairing the government's test approvals group, was reported to have £773,000 worth of shares in pharma company Roche, which sold the government £13.5 millions of antibody tests.

Britain's Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunization (JCVI) advised women "not to come forward for vaccination if they may be pregnant or are planning a pregnancy within three months of the first dose."
Regulators in the United Kingdom also warned people with a history of significant allergic reactions not to have the Pfizer/BioNTech COVID jab after two National Health Service (NHS) workers suffered an anaphylactoid reaction to the vaccine.
