And yet Freepers campaigned like crazy for Mitch McConnell last month and will vote in droves for Perdue and Loeffler next month - they think we're stupid and that we'll keep supporting Republicans because we have nowhere else to go.

And you know what? They might be right - a lot of Trump supporters have Stockholm Syndrome when it comes to the GOP.

I am not so sure about that. In many ways Free Republic is a good cross section of the various types of conservatives in the USA.

What I am increasingly noticing is the diehard GOP supporters in FR are coming around to the fact that the GOP leadership is not much different from the Democrats.

The first test for the GOP will be the GA Senate runoff election. Will the ‘real’ conservative boycott or not?
