“hard to believe this guys wasn’t good enough for some people to be a senator; no way he would have lost to what’s-his-face.”
Well did he lose and came in last in the 2016 primary. I voted for him but it was a lost cause.

And praying I am!!!!!!!!

True. For each challenge Brooks and whatever senator joins with him file then all they need is 218 votes in the House and 50 votes in the Senate to approve the challenge. If either house votes it down then the challenge fails. He doesn't have the votes.

I thank God this man is my Congressman. I have had the opportunity to campaign with him, and I can say that he is the “real deal”. Unafraid of confrontation.
Seven Democrat votes. I don't see that happening, do you?
I fear this might be God's will that we pay for our transgressions. I pray not but nothing so far convinces me we are not due for an attitude adjustment.(as a Nation)
I saw Mo Brooks on the Lou Dobbs show.
America is in deep doo-doo when Mo Brooks said he did not have a single Republican Senator to join with him to co-sponsor a challenge on January 6th.
My feeling as well.
“””There is just too much cowardice: in the republican party, Mitch, the Supreme Court, other the RINO Senators and Governors, the judges Trump appointed, etc. They all let Trump and the American people down”””
I am in agreement with you. I simply cannot fathom how the Republican Party Leaders can believe that doing nothing to support Trump will be beneficial to them in future elections.
By my reckoning the Rush Limbaugh base, the Tea Party base, and the MAGA base represents 40% or more of the total Republican voters.
The Republican Party Leaders think they can give the middle finger to Trump and to more than 40% of regular Republican voters and those 40% will grin and bear it.
I don’t think so.
“”” If either house votes it down then the challenge fails. He doesn’t have the votes.”””
That is the problem facing any challenge per 3 USC.
finding a solution to this problem will not be easy as the Trump Conservatives have been blocked by the Legislative, Executive, and Judicial Branches at all levels of government in our efforts to be able to investigate the obvious fraud.
And that blockage has not only been by Democrats.
The Republicans, who hate Trump’s policies with a passion, have done even more to block the efforts of the Conservatives to gain access to the documents.
I agree, like an elephant’s memory, the voters won’t forget. The GOP is cutting its own throat with this betrayal. I think they think only stupid soldiers face an enemy that you need courage for — they can escape the civilian times that call for courage. They are pampered fools. They either look slick and fickle or mealy and inept.
