To this day I have no understanding of the reasoning behind the picks in the Trump Administration. The President never had the DOJ,FBI,CIA or any other law enforcement/intelligence agency to help him out especially right now where I have no doubt that a comprehensive and unified effort would have crushed this fraud and coup to the core.
Trump’s hands were probably tied by Senator McConnell, who gave him a list of acceptable candidates, such as Sessions and then Barr. In return, McConnell would support conservatives for Federal court openings. Three of these appointees stabbed Trump in the back last Friday evening.
