Republicans Pushing Themselves Off the Cliff
American Thinker.com ^ | December 14, 2020 | Brian C. Joondeph

During the 2012 presidential election, the far-left Agenda Project Action Fund produced a video showing vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan pushing granny off the cliff because he had the supposed audacity to propose a sensible budget, rather than the money-tree approach of Democrats.

Instead of becoming vice president, Ryan landed only one step behind the VP in the presidential succession as Speaker of the House. While he didn’t push granny off the cliff, he did push himself and his party off a cliff by undermining the president of his own party as often as he could.

Ryan ended up on the board of Fox News, reportedly wanting to use his position to “do something” about President Trump. It seems other fellow congressional Republicans, including Ryan’s 2012 running mate Mitt Romney, had similar aspirations.

Trump is still president, although his path to a second term is becoming narrower by the day. Establishment Republicans, particularly those of the NeverTrump variety, are eager to “move on” from the 2020 presidential contest, happily accepting the results of a crooked and stolen election, with vague promises of electoral reform and a more favorable outcome in 2024.

Only two-thirds of House Republicans joined in the Texas lawsuit, meaning the other third was happy to send Trump packing, pushing him, and their party off the cliff. If the political parties were reversed, does anyone doubt that 100 percent of Democrat House members would have backed the lawsuit?

Ryan and Romney should never have been elected
to anything in the previously FREE country.

Both are enemies of the American People and
children should be removed from their (and Biden’s)
presence immediately.

Do you know why Dems do not stray from their party line? Because, if they do, they will be ruthlessly attacked and purged.

“There Will Be Blood.”
By Matt Bracken aka Travis McGee

The impossible situation that the non-politician outsider Donald Trump found himself in was that he had to fight all of the DemSocRats and (at least) half of the GOP.

Nominally Republican Governor Kemp in Georgia is a classic example. Early in 2020 he signed a $110 million dollar contract to buy 30,000 Chinese-made Fraud-O-Matic vote-switching machines, placing them in every GA precinct. He reportedly inked the contract two weeks after he visited the CCP “spy nest” in Houston that was recently forced to close. It is safe to assume family kickbacks were involved.

Kemp, his Republican AG and his Republican lieutenant governor do not want their financial connections to the CCP revealed. This Georgia corruption was endangered by Swamp Drainer Trump, and will be protected by Beijing Biden. Trump lost Georgia, and with a few other corrupt states, he lost the White House. What happened in Georgia was a classic example of Trump’s dilemma.

Like “Republican” Brian Kemp, half of the GOP goes into politics for the legal family graft, happy to play the “designated losers” aka the “Washington Generals” to the “DemSocRat Globetrotters,” who are assigned by the overall system to win majorities. Witness the sellout “consent decree” election deal the Georgia GOP made with Stacy Abrams, which guaranteed a Rat victory, and the unexamined continuance of the Georgia GOP graft machine.

The GOP grifters want the graft without the hassles and accusations of being part of systemic white racism and so on, so they are eager to roll over on their backs for their DemSocRat shot-callers.

Hunter and Joe Biden were not unique, they are typical of both sides of the political aisle, if a bit flagrant at their grifting. You can’t give an American politician a million bucks, heaven forfend, that’s a bribe! But you can give it to his son or his brother, after creating a fictitious job for him. Then he buys a couple of mansions, and lets you live in them. Great work if you can get it–and you can only get it by becoming a “made member” of the ruling elite.

Trump upset this legalized political graft formula, so he had 75% of Washington out to bury him from Day One. All of the Rats, and half of the GOP. Impossible math to overcome.

Americans were doing better under Trump’s reforms.

The crooks selling out the country to China, not so much.

The Great Awakening has not been learning about the sellout of the Democrats to the CCP, but about the sell-out of the Republicans to the Democrats. It’s like a bunch of frat boys who support anyone who supplied the beer and the girls.

As far as I know, this is how DC lobbying machine works. It is disturbing that American politics become hereditary business. It is not unlike Japan or China. The difference between Japan and America is that Japanese political class do not betray their country, even though they could be incompetent and corrupt.

First, though, I’m waiting for conservatives to begin naming names of Rinos other than Romney and Ryan. Time and time and time again criticism is leveled by Rush, Hannity , the author of this article and others but no other names of defecting Republicans are given. This is a dereliction of duty. It’s too easy to blame Ryan and Romney while forgetting the others.

“Ryan and Romney should never have been elected”

Agreed, but rewind the tape here.

For years the likes of hannity, levin, limbaugh, coulter scolded and shamed the base if they hesitated to pull the ‘R’ lever because the candidate in question was a wet-noodle RINO at best, at traitor at worst.

Rush - (condescending tone) “How do you win by losing? Explain to me how you win by losing.”

Levin - “No, no no! Hold your nose, vote republican, and hold their feet to the fire.”

Coulter - “You ‘purists’ are the reason we don’t have the majority.”

Hannity - “Republiccans good; Democrats and Independents bad. Republicans good; Democrats and Independents bad. Republicans good...”

Over and over again, probably per Rove’s orders. And it always worked, the lemmings followed orders.

That is how Ryan, Snowe, Murkowski, Romney, McCain, etc., get elected.

Shame. We could have easily won with the right people. And we have PLENTY of good, energetic, principled people willing to be given a chance, but...

Most of the republicans who are running for the hills realize that this country is lost as a representative republic. When they see that the deep state refuses to prosecute corruption and lawlessness can you blame them? Some examples.

Hillary boasts and jokes about her crimes that were treasonous yet she still walks the streets?

It's reported that Swalwell slept with a Chinese spy for some four years and he not only is still on the House Intelligence Committee but his leader (Pelosi) claims that he is patriotic?

The DOJ hid corruption by the democrat presidential candidate for two years and allowed the voters to blindly vote for him?

Election fraud is rampant but the deep state (media, tech, democrats, cops, and judges) all turn their heads even after their candidate proclaims, "We have put together, I think, the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics,"

Can you blame them for covering their collective asses?

You are right. Republicans have the mindset of frat boys and sorority sisters. Most of them anyway.

Dems by and large agree on policy. They’re all socialists of various flavors. The same can not be said of the GOPe and MAGA agendas. They are diametrically opposed. So it’s natural what was the GOP coalition had conflict. GOPe collusion with progressive Democrats on the coup and now steal has changed GOP politics forever. There is simply no longer any reason for millions of disenfranchised GOP voters to “hold their noses” and vote for the party that has disenfranchised them.

GOPe = RAT = UniParty = DS = Communists

Yeah, they all wear different hats, they all tell different lies to their constituency, but they ALL have the same goals & agenda...and it sure as heck isn’t to MAGA.

Greed is a very powerful vice.
The Chinese know that.
American politicians sold their souls....and the country, for money & power.

They’re all socialists of various flavors.

This doesn't prevent some of them from straying. They are dogmatic. It also make them more ruthless against heretics. They periodically purge heretics.

The problem is in some areas only R or D has any chance of winning.

What that causes is Demonrats in R jerseys getting elected, like Ryan, Romney,...
