In a disappointing majority decision announced shortly before 6:30pm Friday evening, a majority of Supreme Court justices refused to take up a Texas lawsuit challenging four states in the 2020 election.
The court, with two dissenting options by Justice Alito and Justice Thomas, stated that Texas lacked a legal right to sue and did not have a legal interest in how other states carried out their elections.
The court rejected the Texas’ lawsuit without considering the specific merits of the state’s case.
Texas had asked the court to delay the official vote of the Electoral College, scheduled for Monday, Dec. 14, or prevent the four states from casting votes in the Electoral College for Biden. Justice Alito filed a short statement regarding the court’s disposition of the case and was joined by Justice Clarence Thomas. *** From the Alliance:
An individual voter does not have standing to sue for election misconduct. (He/she is only one person and everyone cannot sue all the time for all elections.) An official who may be adversely affected, cannot sue before an election in anticipation of bad conduct because it is speculative (not ripe) An official who was adversely affected, cannot sue after an election claiming bad conduct because it is too late (latches) A state does not have standing to sue on behalf of its citizens to remedy other states’ bad election conduct (no standing)

without checking all the examples, I’m still concerned about this one:
- 1.8 million absentee ballots were mailed out for the 2020 election in Pennsylvania, but 2.5 million were counted, according to testimony at a Pennsylvania state hearing. -
my understanding is over 3m ballots were requested and 2.5 million or so were counted and that the figures above were from the Primaries.
other than that, it is inconceivable the courts keep refusing to hear the evidence.
all machines and ballots should have been impounded long ago.

You people better get used to the idea of President Harris. Face it, the left with the help of the courts has managed to steal the presidency. They will do the same in GA in Jan. to gain control of the Senate. We will then be a totalitarian regime. Elections will have no meaning. The only way forward at this point is to do what the left does, constant violent protests.
Do not forget John Roberts was not yet on the court.
Occupant Harris.
Thank you for the correction. Even occupant is repulsive to me.

I’m saying this just once....STHU!
so cherry, prove me wrong.
Fewer opportunities for fraud, and more accountability by state citizens.
TEXAS “lack of legal right and legal interest .....” ??
A little bit short and rough of a statement from a Court on such an issue !
Not at all !
Being “used” is not an option . Do you have other ideas ?
Sorry , i didn’t read the end !
Violent or pacific huge protests . One must make the difference between violence and force/strength .....
Anyway NOW it’s up to the people !
Judges and politicians can be easily targeted and threatened by big mafias , thugs and mercenaries ....as individuals !
The only date that’s “hard” in the constitution is Jan 20 so go peddle your “I give” BS elsewhere.
And to think how hard Trump worked to get those three justices confirmed and they stab him in the back.
I guess they couldn’t wait to foolishly ingratiate themselves with the left.
They should have all granted him the courtesy of hearing his case,he is after all the President.
