I’m no physicist, so I guess it’s OK that I don’t get this. If a black hole has no event horizon, it seems to me that would mean that light would always be able to escape the point of singularity - which would mean it’s not a black hole at all.

Light is just a photon.

It has no mass from what I under stand.

It is just electromagnetic energy.
