Wow, you are not listening. Lets use the US Navy for example. The US Navy would not cease to exist post secession. It would be smaller but another navy would from supported by a new nation of 200,000,000 free ( or freerer ) people ( formerly Texas and many other red states ).

In the 1940s a nation of 120 million had a Navy with 20 CVBG. A nation of 200,000,000 could support at least 7 or 8 CVBG's combined with the USNs reduced capability of 6 or 7 CVBGs ( down form 12 ).

Post secession the combined North American fleet would/could be even bigger and better then ever. The new free country would spend MORE on defense per capita and less on welfare.

The situation is DYNAMIC and not STATIC.

The New Republic of American Free States would have a Gideon armed forces. 1 of our fierce and determined patriots could whip 10 from the PC Army of the Corrupt Democracy of RAT States, just like a small Israeli army beat 20X the number of invading Arab countries several times.

Yeah. No more social experiments, spending defense dollars on tranny conversions, etc.
