I don’t deny to Ms Powell that her man has some expertise.
But having sold him as coming to her with military intelligence experience via the 305th Military Intelligence Battalion (of which he merely had some training there), others took that and added the false idea that the 305th Military Intelligence Battalion was part of the “raids” that took some election tabulating computer servers out of Germany.
The after effects of her little white lie led to “conspiracy theories” that then harmed her own narrative.
Never use a lie to make a good argument. The lie is used to paint your whole argument as false, no matter how true much of your argument may be.
The maroon berets were worn by Army airborne units. The Army issued black berets to everyone else except Rangers and Special Forces. I got out before the entire beret wearing thing happened. However, when I first joined our artillery battalion on Ft. Knox wore red baseball caps.
They go goofy when they get to wear the black dress...it’s a sickness
Thanks for the color clarification.
They just seemed like a cheap “marketing” trick to me.
But, hey, what do I know?
I’m just a dumb, knuckle-dragging Marine Corps Grunt...
:-)
Ooooh RAH!
RED baseball caps?
Did anyone shout "Sniper Check!"?
(Thank you for your service.)
PS I was an 81 mortar radio operator & FO in Vietnam. I paid close attention to "Sniper Checks"!!!
Fortunately we didn’t have to worry about snipers at Ft. Knox, KY 73-75, due to the friendly native population. It was to set us off from all the armor folks on Ft. Knox. We were the largest combat non-tank unit on post, excluding the basic training brigade. We were part of the 194th Armored Brigade. It had 2/34 FA, two tank battalions that also trained the Armor School enlisted and officers, and one Infantry company.
