Sidney Powell is still out there fighting: It's hard to keep up with this human dynamo, but she's got arrows in her quiver, and we need to keep the faith.

As I write these words in the wee hours of Saturday morning, it's tough not to be disheartened by the Supreme Court's refusal to take up Texas's challenge to those states accused of running corrupt elections. Still, that was just one of many efforts to return sanity to the election. One of the most interesting actors now, as before, is Sidney Powell. (The other is Lin Wood, with whom she works.) This post sums up Powell's most recent pronouncements.

First, late Friday night, after the Supreme Court had already dismissed the Texas case, Powell told people to "Pay attention!"

I did pay attention and was able to get a link to the 97-page emergency petition she filed — except that I can't get it to load. You can find it here, and it may work for you.

Incidentally, even without reading the petition, I believe absolutely that Powell is correct that the American people have standing. In our federal republic, the votes in 50 standalone states are combined to elect a president. When a state engages in unconstitutional cheating for Biden in a way that affects the election outcome, that conduct not only invalidates votes for Trump within the state, but destroys the vote of all Trump voters who participated in constitutionally run elections in other states.

And for those who say this argument opens up leftist lawsuits against Trump votes in red states, I say go for it.

The Supreme Court seemed to take the first part of that statement and ignored the reality of the caveat articulated in the second.

To that extent their refusal to even consider the case was at a minimum intellectually dishonest and at worst criminal.

Electors are required by law to vote Dec 14, so time is running out. You can bet the Biden Electors are going to meet and vote, and the Dem governors in MI, PA and WI are going to submit those votes.

In 1960 Hawaii submitted two slates of Electors, one Dem and one Republican. If the Republican legislatures in GA, MI, PA, WI and AZ submit their own slate of Republican Electors it might force the vote for President to take place in the House of Representatives.

In the House of Representatives the vote for President would take place by State, with each State having one vote. There are 26 State Delegations controlled by Republicans, so that would be a path to victory for Trump. A vote in The House is a long shot, but it’s the only possibility realistically. I don’t think any court is going to declare Trump the winner of a nationwide election and with only two days to go before the Electors vote there’s just not much time to keep filing lawsuits and get them before a court.

Sidney Powell is neither a clown or grifter.

She has made some stunning allegations right from the start of this debacle and most of the most serious and relevant allegations are being verified with hard evidence as this mess unfolds.

It is becoming now or never time for a more complete disclosure of evidence.

Dobbs implored her to send him as much documentation as she could to show to the public and pledged her as much air time as she needed, even to multiple programs, to make her case - she told him she would send him some very compelling evidence overnight for his next - Friday - show. Last night - Friday - not only was there no mention of Sidney, Dobbs himself didn't show up, and David Asman spent the hour talking about Hunter Biden - I wonder........
