I agree with your post except I don’t think it’s an explicit quid pro quo. Kemp and the GOP want Trump gone for their own reasons. The Dems want the Senate because they want control of appropriations. Although, if they don’t get it they will happily use GOP control as an excuse to not pass the AOC craziness.

Yep, I would not doubt it for a second. Everything is about money with these mofos, the biggest mistake Trump ever did was say he was going to “drain the swamp”. When he said that the Rat/RINO Uniparty of treason saw him as a major threat.

Four Republican senators have already met with Democrats to discuss amnesty for illegals. Even if the Republicans win both seats, and both of these senators magically become conservative, the Dems will still have enough votes to push through amnesty. The Republicans are doomed after that.
It might be better if the Dems win both seats, then all of the destruction that occurs over the next two years will be their fault entirely.
However, having a Republican majority may have a few benefits in terms of preventing a packing of the Supreme Court, etc. but that will be small change and will only last until the US officially becomes a one party state.
