Funny. I was just listening to "Silent Running" by "Mike + The Mechanics" when I saw this thread. The lyrics are interesting:

Don't believe the church and state
And everything they tell you...

Better you should pray to God
The Father and the Spirit
Will guide you and protect from up here...

Swear allegiance to the flag
Whatever flag they offer
Never hint at what you really feel
Teach the children quietly
For some day sons and daughters
Will rise up and fight while we stand still

Sounds a lot like the advice we're seeing here.

I saw some of JFK the other day. Oliver Stone wasn’t a crazed conspiracy nut after all. He was just early.

I was thinking more of Sepultera’s “Refuse/Resist”:

“Chaos A.D.
Tanks on the streets
Confronting police
Bleeding the Plebs
Raging crowd
Burning cars
Bloodshed starts
Who’ll be alive?!”

Or maybe “Uprising” by Muse

“Rise up and take the power back
It’s time the fat cats had a heart attack
You know that their time is coming to an end
We have to unify and watch our flag ascend
(So come on)”
