Santa Clara County Superior Court Judge Peter Kirwan said the orders issued by the county’s health department were necessary to slow the spread of the coronavirus and that the church needed to comply with the county and the court.

Maybe we should have these church goers wear a yellow cross on their clothing so we can identify them. Maybe we should have our supporters go out at night to trash and destroy their places of business. Maybe we should place them in trains and haul them off to camps from which they will never return. Been done before. This time the "victims" are a little better armed. Thank God for the 1st and 2nd Amendments.

I am so glad that some Pastors have the fortitude to tell the county nazis to pound sand. I have stopped giving to my church because they are lemmings.

Do they show any evidence that any of the attendees were ever infected at church?

Lots of my friends have started going to this church. They’ve really enjoyed going to in person services. One of them is struggling with severe depression, and she needs in person services.

The way I see it, the Supreme Court just GAVE this Church the Right to Spank these Quislings Personally, REALLY HARD!!, Screw the State Courts:

The U.S. Supreme Court, in a Justice Amy Coney Barrett-less 8-0 decision on Thursday, deciding that the people of faith can file suit under the Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993 (RFRA) against government officials who have “unlawfully burdened” their religious exercise. But those government officials will have a defense available to them that has often been criticized in the context of police misconduct: qualified immunity... ..."The Supreme Court held that “claims for money damages” against government officials in their official individual capacities are included in what constitutes “appropriate relief.”

Still awaiting the storming and burning down of the governor’s house.
Until then CA residents have the cojones of a media marshmallow - along with the intelligence.

And yet I’ve been told directly by some church leaders that there are no restrictions and that we’re doing this voluntarily.

Their original goal was eliminating the Christian churches.

“None have been infected. My friends go there.”

Same with me....been going there as well. Pastor has said that nobody has contracted covid (from which most ppl have a 99.8% chance of recovery) from church. Professional bettors would go to Vegas with those odds.

We have turned into a nation of squishes.

So Churches are supposed to feel threatened by assessments of filthy mammon?

If ‘The Church’ was not a legal ‘organization’, with assets, there would be no threat possible, well, except execution of individuals.

Exactly.

My uncle who is a pastor, would tell them to “shove it!” in several languages including Hebrew and koine Greek.
