Some Republicans are still fighting for President Donald Trump.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, and Republican Sen. Roy Blunt blocked a motion on Tuesday that would have allowed the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies to publicly accept that the upcoming inauguration will be for President-elect Joe Biden.
Democrat Rep. Steny Hoyer brought the โmotion to affirm that inaugural preparation,โ which would commence for Joe Biden.
Republicans on the committee stoutly refused.

What a surprise!
Empty virtue signaling. How many oversight hearings has McConnell’s Senate had on the steal? The answer to that would be ZERO. Graham wouldn’t even hold a hearing on Big Tech until AFTER the election.
Then, when Trump is confirmed as the actually winner, all their efforts and money will have been wasted.
Let us not forget that AG Barr and Spook Gina Haspel both had “Special” meeting in the Turtles Office the day after the election. I find it even more curious today than I did when it happened.
And Gina Haspel hasn’t been seen anywhere since then.
Romney gives this post a thumbs down.
Biden and his wife has to be pissed by this.
Suspend meetings until such time as they can agree on a president-elect. Problem solved.
“Maybe we should let them spend their millions in preparation for the event.”
Aren’t they our millions?
Good. I’ve been seeing RESIST bumper stickers for the last 4 years - NOW IT”S OUR TURN!!!
Respectfully have to disagree.
PDJT has not conceded he “lost” the election, and is likely to never concede “losing” an election with so much evidence of organized efforts to steal the election. There is a massive suit by Texas and other states pending in the Supreme Court yet to be decided and the Electoral College has not declared Biden the winner.
So letting the House Democrats proceed is sort of like colluding with the enemy. No need to participate in a phony show of “unity.” Let them proceed alone with their fiction.
There were some articles a day or two ago about there being a “virtual swearing in” for Biden. Just how much time and money do the Democrats need to prepare for that?
Biden may indeed take office on 20 January 2021. But, considering the ill grace shown by Democrats during his term in office and the obvious criminality of Democrats in this election, the cold shoulder they receive from Republicans should be historic and glacial.
I can’t think of a better way for PDJT to leave office than NOT escorting the usurper president to the capital, Republicans en mass not attending inaugural ceremonies and festivities (RINOs, of course, will grovel), and for now citizen Trump to have an absolutely massive 2024 campaign rally in Florida at the same time as the swearing-in in DC.
Then he can spend the next four years campaigning, making Biden’s life absolutely miserable (and Kamala’s too once Biden say...slips in the shower ...again) and making money. Yeah, he’s good at that. I hope he makes a lot of it. He certainly lost enough of it while being President.
Shut up!! Can y’all ever not post negative Nancy comments on every single decent thing done by a Republican! Aarrgghhh! ๐คฆ๐ผ
Those are the facts at hand. Don’t blame the messenger.
My reasoning is that since this evil has been foisted on us, it must be rejected to the nth degree. ย Democrats boycotted President Trump's inaugural and turnabout's fair play.
๐ blah blah blah ๐
EVERY move that Biden & his cohorts are making reminds me of this:
You sell your property.
You & the buyer agree on terms, length of escrow, repairs, etc.
The BUYER (Biden) starts sneaking ONTO YOUR property at all hours & without notification or permission.
Buyer further starts to try & make changes to the property.
THE ESCROW still is NOT closed/recorded/signed off/funded.
BUT-—the ‘BUYER keeps intruding & making demands.
