Late is right. That is my thought. GA GOP is a Chinese Intelligence asset at this time.

Consider that for a moment.

RE: BTW we will definitely need to push the Dec 14 Electors date back.

If it is not in the constitution, then the dates are flexible.

It is the date: January 20, the inauguration of the President, that cannot be changed.

I don’t understand why all ballots that still exist have not been confiscated as evidence, in the 3 states and also, all voting machines, video’s, etc.

I have found that the SCOTUS Blog is the most reliable source for latest news about the Supreme Court.

I just checked. The only movement is the requirement for the 4 named states to respond to the petition no later than 3 PM Eastern on Thursday, Dec 10. The Court will have a Conference on Friday, the 11th and my guess is that they will discuss the petition. Every conceivable option is still on the table and the Justices can decide whether or not to move ahead. They have not voted on anything on this case and no official statements have been forthcoming.

The Establishment Legal gurus have weighed in and have said that this is a publicity stunt. Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr (R) has said, “With all due respect, the Texas Attorney General is constitutionally, legally and factually wrong about Georgia.”

So there you have it. They are much smarter than we are, they are morally superior to us, and they are more important than are we. We have no choice but to submit to their will and obey. Should we demand a surrender ceremony?

The Texas case filed with the USSC is regarding electors for the presidential vote.

It is not involved in the down ballot candidates like the two Senate seats in Georgia.

So no matter the outcome of the Texas case, the January runoff for the two senate seats in Georgia will precede.

Yes and no. The 'fix' that the Texas suit requests is to vacate the elector cert based on the election, and require their Legislatures to make a selection on electors. However, part of that is ruling that a large number of ballots were unConstitutionally cast, and are therefore invalid, which would affect downticket races.

SCOTUS is not ruling on the downticket races per se, but the case indirectly definitely could affect them.

So many dirty state attorneys-general, so little time.

Thanks for that explanation. What you said makes sense.

We're all learning constitutional law here.

I’ve been acutely aware of everything THEY have done. We are soon going to have to decide. I think the next few months are not going to be pretty.

Sure thing! I'm not a lawyer or involved in these suits/courts, so it's hot or miss on whether or not they see it that way. But, mine's a pretty plain reading of the Constitution, so it should hold up to an unbiased judge.
