The Chief Justice was appointed by a Jan Brewer and is reported to be Republican. That is, he may only technically be a Republican, but in practice is obviously not.
But in the end, Arizona’s Supreme Court will not matter after the Texas decision at the United States Supreme Court.

Why do you think AZ isn’t listed in the Texas lawsuit?
AZ’s decision may or may not matter....The Texas decision will likely remand the decision back to state legislators , where decisions are not set in stone, despite R dominated state houses.
We need other states to join the Texas suit.
