House members from both parties said Tuesday that the defense bill wasn’t the proper place for debating the legal immunity of social media companies.

Can you spell "raging hypocrisy"? I knew you could.

Trump is still fighting for reelection as the GOP slides right back into their uniparty ways.

First the H1B bill selling out our jobs.
Now this defense bill, blocking funds for the wall and refusing to address the national threat from big tech censoring enen the President of the United States.

While I do not believe Trump will veto the Defense bill because of the Section 230 issue, the Republicans who sided with the Democrats may not like to have themselves identified as Democrats in a veto override.

As it stands now most Americans are not even aware there is a controversy about section 230

[First the H1B bill selling out our jobs.]

A Uniparty treason against American workers.

If you needed anymore proof that holding the Senate really doesn’t matter, here is is. I’m not convinced that A Senate held by Repukes wouldn’t continue to persecute the Trump family.

Is 230 in the NDAA? If it is it is getting addressed.

No. Trump wants it to be. But congress disagrees.

“...while Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyoming, a leading House Republican, warned that troops and families could face pay cuts if the bill wasn’t approved.”

BS. Typical Lib speak coming from Republican. Not getting a pay increase is not a cut... While I totally support the pay increase she needs to stop being disingenuous.

I doubt they can override Trump’s veto. That’s a separate question from what’s in the bill.

I hope to see a DJT veto. It will be an excellent opportunity to see which GOPs in the legislative branch stand by DJT.

No, you don’t get it. If things are added to the defense bill (or any bill) that doesn’t have anything to do with the subject at hand then you can’t debate it. See how that works? You don’t debate mine and I won’t debate yours. A perfect setup.

Raging hypocrisy

They’re not even pretending they’re not hypocrites. Look what Schumer just tweeted...

@SenSchumer I fought for a technical fix ensuring air traffic controllers have the same paid parental leave as all federal employees. I’m proud it’s in the defense bill that the House just passed. Next: The Senate! And I won't stop fighting until ALL American workers have this benefit.

Well, at least they didn’t impeach President Trump.. That is the only good thing I can say about the Republican held Senate.
