RALEIGH, N.C. — Gov. Roy Cooper issued a new stay-at-home order on Tuesday to limit the spread of coronavirus, ordering most businesses to close at 10 p.m. each night, starting Friday.
"We have to act now to save lives, preserve hospital capacity and protect our economy," Cooper said during an afternoon news conference.
The order will require all restaurants, bars, personal care businesses and most retailers to be closed between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. Alcohol sales for on-site consumption will have to end at 9 p.m.
The stay-at-home order "means just what it says – people are to stay home during those hours," the governor said.

Interesting how all these people are wearing masks and it’s not preventing its spread. Of course we know there’s more going on here. This feels like the gov. blinked to me.

If Gov. Cooper is going to lock down the State, in retrospect, why doesn’t he release Ivermectin which has a 99.3% cure rate if taken within 48 hours of symptoms? It has been around since 1981 and has been well tested recently.
I wonder if this includes Walmart. My son usually works until 11:00 p.m.
I'm sure they are relying on "The Science" , I just wish they'd tell us what it is.
Our WM closes the doors @ 10pm but the workers clean and restock all night. Not sure.
I guess the virus only attacks after those hours. it reminds me of the movie Ten Commandments when the foggy dysphora came through the city. You were only safe if you had a red cross painted on your door. Are we all dead as yet? What absolute BS. These health “authorities” are so full of BS with their unconstitutional “mandates”. These bums all get paid no matter what. Typical government “workers”. Creeps!
Let’s get everyone crammed together in the stores at 9pm. That should be safer than spreading them out in time.

We’d like to escape from NYS, but keep having to scratch states from our short list.
I haven’t paid attention to the closing time since they changed from 24 hours; the opening time is more relevant for me. My son is a stocker, so it might not matter when they close.
Yes. My Mother always said nothing good happens at night. The virus comes alive and stalks the earth at precisely 10:00pm!!!

Yep. The DNC/CCP collaborated virus is, without question, the smartest virus ever known to mankind.
It can tell, distance, time, space, race, age, material compositions, specific religions, all 57 genders, race, political affiliations, riots, etc., etc.
It’s uncanny just how smart it really is.....it’s almost like it’s run by.....humans.
When I was a teen there was a house rule “No phone calls after 10PM. Know I realize it was to protect us from viruses and not just an arbitrary one set so mom could have some peace.
