Contact tracing is a hopeless and worthless task. You test positive, and they ask you where you've been in the last two weeks, and you mention half a dozen or more businesses where you've shopped, maybe a church or a family event, etc. You may not remember the exact time of day you were at some of those places, and you obviously don't know the vast majority of the other people who you encounter in public, and they don't know who you are.

Meanwhile, all those people have gone about their lives, and been to other stores, family events, churches, etc., and interacted with numerous other people. It's ridiculous.

If we start trusting random strangers with our social encounters it will be a short time before scamming starts. A contact tracer will call and ask for the last 12 people you talked to, your health insurance information and your checking account information. It would work on a lot of people who are stupid enough to be scared of covid.

I could go on, but it’s most of the country. The left politicized COVID. Why would decent people comply with them on the selected questions that they are willing to ask? I turn my phone off and block its signal so I cannot be tracked at certain locations. It’s none of their business when or how often I go to the range, for example.
