ALBANY, N.Y. (WIVB)–Senator Chuck Schumer is calling on Congress to pass a new round of jobless benefits before it’s too late.
New federal labor numbers show more than 13-million Americans are receiving unemployment benefits through Cares Act programs, but those funds will expire the day after Christmas.
Senator Schumer says rising covid infections are likely to hurt hiring, putting more families in peril.
“So many millions have been thrown out of work through no fault of their own. They’ve been living not luxuriously, and on less salary, than they usually get through the pandemic unemployment insurance that we passed.”

Democrats believe in shared misery...but first they have to create the misery.

Tell him to talk to the ice cream lady. I am sure that she will get something done by Christmas and call it the “Biden Bonanza” or some other nonsense name.

Capitalism creates an unequal distribution of wealth. Socialism creates an equal distribution of poverty.
I choose the former.

Being in the senate or congress seems to contribute to the unequal distribution of wealth. They all get a lot wealthier as a result of having been an office holder.
We have the best politicians money can buy.

How about opening up the economy so people can work you scum bag? He just wants people used to staying at home relaxing and watching TV while they check once in a while to see if their socialist pay has been credited by direct deposit. Beats that working stuff for a lot of people. Let the taxpayers do the work.

democrats don’t believe in direct payments to tax paying citizens...they’d rather filter “their” money from the tax payers to their favorite leftist charity...

Shumer and the rest of the gang are ready to fill their friends in high places with money as usual. Every dollar they hand out out to their friends it is divided and sent back to them in some form.
We were given $1200 of 6.2 trillion.
Where did that money go? It sure didn't get to any of us.
If every man woman and child in the country got $1200 (only taxpayers got the $1200) it amounts to 360 billion.
Where did the money go or better yet who got the money?
The senators won't be the ones paying that back. We will be paying that back.
They spend money that's not theirs.
Everyone in government becomes rich. How does that happen? Their salary is not enough to make them millionaires or billionaires.
Government officials screw us to become rich. That's how they become rich.
They are corrupt.
Another thing they love to do is change names so the ignorant doesn't realize that all these families are connected and it's generational. Just look up Pelosi's family and that alone will infuriate you because they've been taking advantage of us taxpayers for generations.

“Senator Chuck Schumer is calling on Congress to pass a new round of jobless benefits before it’s too late.”
He should be asking Nazi Pelosi why she held the bill up for so long.
