If I understand the process correctly, a tie in the electoral college means that the election is thrown to the House, where each state legislature gets one vote...is that correct?

Republican legislatures far outnumber Dem legislatures.

Trump would win.

You’re correct about the procedure, but the states are 26R-24D, not an automatic Trump win. Imagine the threats, intimidation, and horsetrading.

I know, I don’t think they are reliable Trump votes. If they were they would be raising holy hell by now.

House delegation gets one vote !

The poll themselves internally and whoever that majority says gives said delegation one vote.

In the Senate its a majority of the whole Senate that picks the VP. This is potentially a problem.
