My guess is there were numerous releases,the ones that happened in the Wuhan lab could easily have been through incompetence but when you think about it how could they make it to the US.
More likely the military games in Wuhan city where slick chicoms released the virus in a big way. Unknown so far but infecting players from all over the world. This is more likely what spread the virus rather than stupidity on the part of those working at the wuhan lab. That infected Wuhan city probably not much more.

think about it how could they make it to the US......Many, many Chinese leave Europe and US for China for the Chinese New Year celebration, very much like our Christmas. They then return to the US, Europe,Australia when they have been infected whether by accident or planned.
