As the courts have become hyper-politicized over the past few decades, the judicial nomination process has deteriorated. With this presidential term drawing to a close, we should note the new depths of obstruction that have become a part of the Senate Democrats’ playbook these past four years.

54 (maybe 55 or 56 if the Senate moves quickly) Trump Circuit judges and 3 Supreme Court justices will help to hamper the democrats’ plans.

Great summary of the Senate judiciary process by the Federalist.

(1) Senate GOP rose to the occasion and really helped Trump, who put forth great nominees.
(2) Harry Reid also should be recognized for his “mistake”, as the demonkkkraps really believed back then (many many articles) that no GOP candidate would ever be POTUS again.

Now, GOP and conservatives, libertarians need to start using the other leftist approach to the judicial system by bringing federal lawsuits to advance many issues, including challenging the state and local officials’ restrictions of individual liberty due to China virus. There is precedence on how far government may go to restrict fundamental freedom. With about a million lawyers in this country, it is at some level surprising there haven’t been a lot of lawsuits.

“Vote them out”

On Limbaugh yesterday, average Joe caller made the point that it is now obvious that our right to vote has been taken away from us as shown by the fraud, illegal voting, workers not obeying the law, info suppression, etc. He asked, why would this not happen again.

Rush kept responding ....”I hear what you are saying but ...”. I think Rush was in denial of this reality, which Trump made in what he said (and I agree) may his “most important (45 minute) speech as POTUS”. The media has buried it ... under marching orders from Buyden not to give Trump’s election challenge a platform. America is not only sleeping, it may be dying much faster than many (including Rush) want to admit...who think that their vote counts for something and voting will change anything. Look at Trump’s 2016 election .... and right up to the end of his term, “his own” federal government continues to work against him. It might be more realism than cynicism that voting changes nothing.... it is a mirage to keep people in line.

As the article 3 branch of the federal government usurps more and more of the powers of article 1 and article 2 branches, the Supreme Court nominating process will of course become more politicized.

As the article 1 branch of the federal government abdicates its responsibilities to legislate to deep state bureaucracy, the article 3 branch of the federal government naturally moves to fill the void.

As the article 1 branch deflects more and more of its legislative responsibilities to an unelected article 2 deep state bureaucracy acting as legislator, prosecutor and judge all in one, our democratic republic becomes more distorted and only somewhat less undemocratic if unelected, life-termed judges intervene.

Too often judicial intervention is opportunistic or willfully blind, another way of saying "politicized."

The more the constitutional balance is distorted the more the vicious cycle accelerates. The nominating process disgrace is but a symptom.

Why does the Federalist need to be excerpted. It hasn’t before.
