Ask the people who follow the immigration rules and have to wait their turn. Did this paragon of virtue eschew all gov’t handouts when she sneaked in here 20 yrs ago or did she pave her way with OUR tax money?
I think the recent presidential election was good answer to why we should object when people decide they can wipe their ass with the law. The law is all we have between us and pure chaos.
Judges do not make law.
The if my father stole a diamond is not even close to being the same. The person who was brought here as a child and is now a productive person is not keeping anything that was stolen. As a matter of fact they are paying taxes and contributing to society.
Not everything is black and white. Why would someone want to deport a productive, law abiding person? How is a person in this situation harming anyone? As a matter of fact the person I specifically mentioned was a nurse which we happen to need right now.
Of course I am all about protecting our borders, but let’s not throw out the baby with the bath water. Fact is we do need some immigration and people already living here who are proven to be an asset are the kind of immigrants that we should want.

As for the judge, why elect a president at all? The judges are the ones running the show these days.

DACA was a fabrication of executive order. If it can be created by executive order, then it can be ended by executive order.
Unless, of course, Biden gets sworn in, in which case he will push “DACA 2.0, The Sequel” by executive order.
That having been said, I think an excellent argument can be made that deporting law-abiding people who were brought here as children (therefore did nothing wrong) and who grew up here, is immoral. Grant them permanent residency, which means they are always subject to deportation proceedings if they are convicted of certain crimes.
It is, however, high time to recognize that the Founding Fathers NEVER intended birthright citizenship. The Constitutional interpretation that fabricates that right is highly questionable.

Except if it gets heard after biden steals the election and the courts get packed with socialist liberals-
If DJT files a notice of appeal, but then Biden gets sworn in, he will withdraw the appeal before it gets heard.
Result: The lower court order will stand as issued.
