A judge ruled Thursday that 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse will stand trial on six counts tied to events that occurred in Kenosha, Wisconsin, August 25, 2020.
Rittenhouse was charged with first-degree intentional homicide, first-degree reckless homicide, and attempted first-degree intentional homicide following the August 25th deaths of Anthony Huber and Joseph Rosenbaum in Kenosha, Wisconsin, during riots sparked by the police-involved shooting of Jacob Blake. Rittenhouse allegedly shot three people, two of whom succumbed to their wounds.

Imagine the rioting on the day of his acquittal......
Guilty of self defense. Case closed.
Put me on the jury.
Flood the area, especially the courthouse, with jury nullification pamphlets.

This is a typical case of proprietorial "overcharging", in the hope that something sticks.
That ought to give you some idea of the emotional status there in Kenosha.
Kyle better walk a free young man
These are the facts, and they are not in dispute.
Do it near a courthouse and the state's hammer will come down.
Put me on that jury!!
Ridiculous. Show the jury the entire video tape of the incident.
I watched it almost in real time on FR.
Self defense. Done.

Kenosha is big-time Lib-Prog county. Many blue collar union and minority.
“Flood the area, especially the courthouse, with jury nullification pamphlets.”
Just. vote NOT GUILTY.
No jury nullification required.
Prosecutor’s rule - “If we charge him with enough variations on the same thing, we can bully him into a plea.”
How did that Zimmerman thingee go?
The only charge I think might stick is that he was under 17 and had a gun. That’s a misdemeanor.
I hope Kyle gets acquitted and quickly.
But this should be a warning to all of us - defend yourself against the wrong persons and the State will do everything in its power to bankrupt and imprison you.
We need better self defense laws. Maybe national “stand your ground?’
I was on Jury duty twice in the 80’s. Both times, when the trial was over and we were sent into our room to deliberate, I told the jury about jury nullification.
There must be more to this case than meets the eye. Time to step back and figure out whos wagging the dog
