Over half a million Californians left the state last year. Here's where they went

Texas welcomed most of those Golden State transplants — 82,235 Californians moved to the Lone Star State in 2019. Arizona was the second-most popular destination, with 59,713 former Californians moving there. Third comes Washington state, with 46,791 Californians heading up the Pacific coast.

While Texas saw most immigrants from California, Nevada had the largest chunk per capita — 1,552 of every 100,000 Nevadans had relocated from California last year.

Have neighbors here in Tennessee that moved from Cali a few years ago and they are huge Trump supporters. They say lots of like minded friends are just working out their last few years to retire before they flee too. They are convinced fraud is so rampant there there's no hope there. We welcome them here in Trump country.
