If Biden goes to the WH, the counterrevolution must begin immediately

Sadly, you and I both know there will be no counterrevolution. We lost any hope of counterrevolution when we lost our institutions.

Which of these American institution can we count upon to stand with us in our revolution? The Republican Party? The woke American military? The news media? Hollywood? Academia? The American Bar Association? Our public service unions? The Roman Catholic Church? The United Church of Christ? Municipal police forces? Wall Street? Big business in general? Silicon Valley? Walmart, Amazon? Big Pharma? K St.? Name an institution and I will show you not a patriot but a profiteer.

Sometime ago I published a reply advancing my notion that Martin Luther had a lot to do with the intellectual climate that led to the Declaration of Independence. I was attacked for that, I think mostly by Roman Catholics of my mother's persuasion who resented the line of thought coming from my father's persuasion. I certainly meant no invidious distinction.

The Protestant Reformation and the counterreformation wars which followed spawned a great immigration to America. Early in the 18th century a great religious revival began in New England and spread throughout the colonies. One can see to this day roadside markers showing us where revivalists like George Whitefield ( 1714-1770) preached. It is said that he alone was heard by 80% of Americans before the American Revolution.

Whitefield was not alone, he was only the most prominent. The point is that these itinerant revivalists incited a new wave of spiritual life in America in time for the American Revolution which was founded on the idea, Luther's idea, that man needed no mediator between himself and God and he was, therefore, born equal and sovereign in a spiritual sense, and not a beholden spiritual vassal of Pope or King. A short jump leads one to the conclusion that the individual is sovereign in a secular world, that he alone lends government legitimacy and, hence, the religious, ethical and moral right to revolution.

We have no Whitfield today in America, we have only Whitfield's mortal enemies insinuated in all the institutions listed above. We have no culture that would embrace Whitfield. We have no culture, no intellectual, no emotional, and no spiritual foundation for revolution. I wish it were otherwise but if the Democrats succeed in imposing the dysphoria we all reasonably fear our breakout to a promised land will come from the bottom up and not from the top down and certainly not from any of these American institutions as they now exist. We will have lost our freedom and our nation because we squandered our culture and lost our institutions; we lost them because we have lost our souls.

Revolution will come, if it comes at all, from a new Whitfield.

I would sum it up this way, if we lose our country we will have lost it through apathy and cupidity. We lost it because we surrendered ourselves first spiritually, then intellectually and, finally, culturally. It is idle to believe we can recover in a top-down stroke that which we lost in bottomless quicksand.

Say what you like about our enemies, they had a long term plan and executed it almost to perfection. The election of Donald Trump to the Presidency was their Black Swan event and it’s the one thing standing in their way to achieve total power.
