Former national security adviser Michael Flynn promoted a petition Tuesday calling on President Donald Trump to temporarily suspend the U.S. Constitution, declare martial law and order the military to oversee a national re-vote for the 2020 presidential election.

If you're suspending the Constitution and declaring martial law then why bother with the election? Just say you won and stay in office for the next four years or eight years or however many.

Isn’t that what we will have if we let this stand? Obviously Hillary didn’t campaign either , the election was rigged in 16 also . They just didn’t make enough votes. He needs to suspend the constitution and get rid of the communists.

President for Life, to be followed by DJT, Jr. And abolish Congress and the Supreme Court, while you're at it.

Yes. Exactly. It is high time to be done with this bullshit.
Trump needs to declare martial law and remain in power.

Desperate times call for desperate measures.

Suspend to stop the steal, enable a new vote, nationwide.

We want a fair vote, each vote bein a legitimate vote, no fraud.

The results can then be believed.

if Trump loses a free and fair election, he is out of there, and all supportyers of his will agree on his departure.

Without it, 80 ,000,000 citizens are angry, and a few percent of that are willing to act.

Don't be ridiculous. The whole idea is to restore and maintain the integrity of the US Constitution, the voting process, and national security. A re-vote accomplishes that (more or less) because the people still get their election and the US still abides by it. Otherwise, you allow the coup and hostile takeover of the US as a country.

Eight to ten years is the practical limit for an effective executive. After that, the skills and temperament they brought to the job become irrelevant and they usually get replaced by one means or another.

Times change, and new problems come up. It will take a new guy to solve them.

Elections require less shooting than other succession plans.

Even an Imperator Maximus Trump might eventually prefer a retirement in Mar-a-Largo with a successor chosen by some kind of election.

Probably one that truly means "one man, one vote".
