America’s recent election and the COVID-19 pandemic fueled a gun-buying binge that continued in November, making 2020 into the top year ever for firearms sales — by a country mile.
The FBI reported today that it recorded a 42% surge in background checks for firearms in November. Last month, it conducted 3.6 million. In November 2019, it was 2.5 million.
And already this year, the FBI has recorded 35.7 million background checks. In all of record-setting 2019, there were 28.3 million checks.
That means 2020 background checks for guns are already 25% over last year, and there is still a month to go. What’s more, Decembers have historically been the biggest month for firearms sales.

I’d bet it is more than 434 million.
There are still lots of guns around from the turn of the last century.
Biden is stealing the “Gun Salesman of the Century” award from Barry...and he isn’t even inaugurated yet.
Do they have enough professors willing to go confiscate them?
He won’t be.
Is that just guns sold after 1968? What about earlier before records were required? Back in the good old days of LIBERTY you could order through the mail and have one shipped to you, no questions asked.
The number of gun sales are about 50% of background checks.
Almost half of background checks are for gun permits and permit rechecks.
Just try to go buy a gun or ammo anywhere now. You might find some shotgun shells or some old oddball rifle ammo but nothing else. New guns?
Can’t find them in store or online.
The big ammo “bot” links show ammo and vendors but flesh it out to source and they are sold out.
No wonder, have you seen that walking skeleton that the media has all but inaugurated?
I don’t have one of them ever since my 6 month old was being diapered on a changing table 45 degrees off from where I was dry firing and !BLAM! I had an accidental discharge. So when the Govt. 1 day starts cruising down the street with wall penetrating radar that can see exactly what you’ve got & where, they won’t be seeing anything in my house.
You can still do that with black-powder firearms, but I get your point.
Keep in mind, it’s not just patriots buying guns and ammo, the enemy is too.
Yes, I said “enemy”

In 1980, the news media declare Ronald Reagan to be too old to be President and were betting he would not last his first term. I believe it was Esquire Magazine had an illustration of a dead Reagan laying on an autopsy table.
Now they are throwing their weight behind a 78 year old senile codger as the greatest thing that has ever happened.
Bet commie Kamalla is chomping at the bit to take over! (See my tag line)
Good luck getting them back from people.
There is a shortage, I stocked up long ago, and I’m not buying guns or ammo for the moment. The more armed Americans, the better!

Still plenty of guns on Gunbroker. I just bought an M4. Ammo is a whole different story though. What you can get you will be paying 2-3 times more for it. My go to online supplier is Target Sports USA. Almost no ammo at all. However, I have been buying heavy over the last two years just in case.
Of course it is a GAP .45...not a ACP .45.....The good thing is...ammo is very available.
Anyone here interested let me know..
