A new study that found traces of coronavirus in US blood samples from December last year is adding to the growing evidence that the virus was circulating for months before China announced its existence, casting more shadows over the truth about the pandemic and fuelling suspicions of a cover-up by Beijing.
Claims the global outbreak began in a livestock market in Wuhan last winter have crumbled in the face of scientific evidence proving the virus was all over the Western world weeks and even months before China declared the first cases to the World Health Organization on December 31.
Research published on Monday revealed that 39 blood samples taken between December 13 and 16 last year in California, Oregon and Washington state had tested positive for Covid antibodies, meaning the people who gave them had been infected weeks earlier.
The evidence is the earliest trace so far of the virus on US soil, and a further 67 samples from between December 30 and January 17 tested positive in Connecticut, Iowa, Massachusetts, Michigan, Rhode Island and Wisconsin.
It adds to a growing body of proof that the virus had spread thousands of miles outside of China long before its existence was acknowledged. Scientists in Italy say they now have proof the virus was there in September 2019, traces of it were found in Brazil in November, a French hospital patient had it in his lungs in December, and the virus was present in sewage in Spain in January.

It’s remarkable in the evil intent, but the plan is simple, and this is what I firmly believe:
The Democrats and the Chinese had a common enemy, President Trump. They joined together to let this thing loose from the Wuhan lab. The pandemic shackled the world economy at a time when the Chinese economy was slipping. The pandemic was blamed on President Trump by the Dems and the media. The American public, being indoctrinated to the point of being stupid sheep, bought it.
Trump gone, China rising, everyone’s happy.
I work at a university and our Chinese students were running around our building with ‘masks’, months before I ever heard of Wuhan virus.
I thought is was just a quirk with Chinese exchange students....
I came to this collusion early on. I think they had volunteers infected who targeted old age homes to get the death count up. I think the Trump White House was also targeted just at the right moment.
A coverup? Yeah, I’d say so.

In 2019 I traveled to Asia. While flying between cities in Japan, I was seated next to a Malay or Chinese man. I have lived all over Asia and they do not all look alike. Besides he was obviously not Japanese because he was coughing up a storm, no mask and he did not cover his mouth. Japanese are not that rude. The Japanese flight attendant even noticed and wanted to move me but the flight was booked solid. Roughly a week later I thought I was dying. Coughing, high fever, difficulty breathing etc. That was April, early May 2019. I discussed it with a doctor in July of 2020, he said that sounds like COVID, but that was not possible since the first cases were discovered in January 2020. I am not so certain about that.

LOL - The ChiCom campaign of spreading FUD about the origins of the virus is hitting home?
Oh please! You have been watching too much TV. Just because it has been used as a political weapon à la... the global warming hoax, does not mean it is a “bio-weapon”. 90% of people who get it do not even realize that they have it. And it is about as dangerous as a typical cold to something around 99% of people under 60 who are not already ill with a life threatening disease. And you think that is how a “bio-weapon” would be designed? I spent a lot of years as the senior officer on a HAZMAT team we studied and drilled to combat actual bio-weapons; coronavirus does not fit the definition.
I still believe China developed it as a bio weapon and when it got loose figured why should we suffer alone. Reminds me of Rep. Clyburn said the Covid-19 was their chance to further the Democrats’ agenda and that’s what they did.
Still wondering what American corporations and universities with boots on the ground in Wuhan knew and when they knew it.
And, if they did, why they stayed quiet.

Last year my daughter taught Chinese nationals who were exchange students here. They returned from China on Jan. 28 and she was horribly sick the first week of February. It lasted almost a month. Although her test this summer showed that she was negative with no antibodies, I believe she had a form of COVID and her immunity was gone six months later.
You are correct, of course. But the side-effects of the pandemic response dwarf the disease itself's damage. How much of that could have been foreseen?
There is a popular theory that it is a “dry run” for the main event. They have to fine tune the lethality, incubation period, and degree of contagiousness.
Not that I subscribe to such a kooky theory.
