Yes, he substituted for Rush quite a bit back in the 1990's and early 2000's. Otherwise, most of us would never have heard of him.

Walter Williams was my favorite substitute host for Rush.
I dont remember when he last hosted but I presume it’s been a few years back.

Mark Steyn has now taken over favorite substitute.

I liked him actually better than Rush. Alway looked forward for him to substitute. Great loss. Sorry and prayers for Williams family.
