I am 75 years old and was diagnosed with an essential or familial tremor 20- years ago. It’s a progressive disorder and mine has progressed to the point where I can barely feed myself. Watching me eat is not a pretty sight to behold.
I’ve tried CBD oil, no effect whatsoever. Got some marijuana from my nephew and smoked enough to make me high as a kite, not the result I was looking for.
Is there a medical name/grade that I can provide my doctor with that could possibly help me? Whether she would write a prescription for it is another question. I live in Illinois, it’s legal here.
Essential tremor is hell, as I can attest.
Propranolol or alcohol seems to work in a pinch.
