Yeah, I think it’s getting worse around here, too. For a while I could count on seeing a couple other maskless shoppers in Walmart or Safeway, but now I’m the only one more often than not. Even had a few Karens make snotty remarks recently. When that happens, I like to pretend that I can’t understand what they’re saying, and then if they pull down their masks to talk louder, I mock their hypocrisy. People like that want antagonism, but they can’t handle ridicule.
I do wear masks. Mostly to keep the endless self-righteous superiors off my back.
I prefer the paper pleated masks.
BUT I bought some cloth masks with very aggravating messages on them and wear them every chance I get.
First was the MAGA before the election. I only got 3 comments - all women in different places - saying they like my mask.
Now I’m cycling on my APPEASING THE SHEEP mask (sheep with masked face).
I’ll be alternating them. OT1H I appease the sheep, OTOH I tick them off.
